FOR PETE'S SAKE
SCHOLARSHIPS

Wheelice "Pete" Wilson Jr. had a profound impact on the arts in Coppell. As the founder of Theatre Coppell, it was a dream of his to have a new Arts Center where all practices of art could be presented to the community. Mr. Wilson saw this dream come true when the Coppell Arts Center opened its doors.
The Wheelice ‘Pete’ Wilson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship program will award at least two (2) scholarships to Coppell students who has demonstrated significant appreciation for and dedication to the arts and/or the Coppell community.
The minimum scholarship award will be $1,000. Scholarships are awarded in May for the fall semester, and funds will be distributed in August payable to the school. The final amount to be awarded each year depends upon applicant qualifications and available funds.
